This app recommends games by crossing what you play with what the creators you trust have said. To do that it keeps as little about you as it can, and everything it keeps you can delete yourself, at any moment.
Your account
Your email address, and your name if you give one. If you come in with Google we store the email address and the name Google hands us; we never see your Google password.
Kept for as long as your account exists.
What we store from Steam
If you link Steam we store your SteamID, which of the games in your public library match our catalogue, and the hours you have played them — total and recent. We never ask for your Steam password and we never see a library you have set to private.
Kept while the link is there, and refreshed in place: each read replaces the previous one, so no history of your hours is built up. Unlinking Steam deletes them right away.
What we store from YouTube
If you link YouTube we read the channels you are subscribed to, once, so you can pick which of them are creators you trust. What we keep is the ones you pick: the rest of the list is dropped as soon as you have chosen, and we do not store the access token.
The creators you picked stay until you remove them. The list of subscriptions is not kept at all.
What we never store
The transcript of a video is used to extract a review and then dropped: it is not written to any table, file or log. What remains is the link to the original and the timestamps that back each claim.
Deleting everything
From your account page you can delete your account. That takes your signals, the creators you trust, your external links and your identity, immediately and without asking why. Copies kept for disaster recovery are rotated out within 30 days; after that no copy of your data is left.
